Professors from AUB’s Continuing Education Center offered the Accounting Certificate Program and the Office Management Certificate Program to the Public Authority for Applied Education (PAAET) in Kuwait.

Consultants from the Faculty of Medicine, School of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, and Faculty of Arts and Sciences designed a four-year curriculum in nursing, medical laboratory technology, and pharmacy for Al Mana’ General Hospital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Experts from the Olayan School of Business provided a strategic assessment of the Institute for Banking Studies as a provider of educational and training services to Kuwait’s financial services sector.

Consultants from the Olayan School of Business, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Registrar's Office, and Comptrollers Office are working to provide technical assistance in the establishment of Dhofar University in Salalah, Sultanate of Oman.

Experts from the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture are working with CHF International to implement an environmentally appropriate rural technologies initiative in Lebanon.

Professionals from the Olayan School of Business are creating management seminars and development programs to streamline operations at Hikma Pharmaceuticals in Amman, Jordan.

The Beirut International Tango Festival will take place April 23-26, 2009. The Festival will showcase world-renown musicians and performers who will delight participants with their mastery of Argentinean Tango music and dance. Spaces are limited and the deadline to register for the Festival is April 10, 2009.
